So far, I have noticed that there are only 4 fish shops in Putra Permai as listed below. They are traditional type of aquaria with standard supplies like aquarium, fishing rod, small fish for feeding, shrimp, cricket, tropical fish…

If so happen that I have missed out any, please do me a favor by letting me know.

A. Ammar Aquarium & Pet Shop

Location: Opposite Putra Walk (refer to location map)
Description: You are always welcome by the Malay owner who is kind enough to share with you the knowledge about fish rearing and fishing. It has the most complete fishing equipment available among four of them.

B. Hikari Fish & Pets Supplies

Location: Behind Ammar Aquarium & Pet Shop (refer to location map)
Description: Their fish is living in the cleanest aquarium :) Besides, there are more variety of fish too. Open only in the evening, until 10.30 – 11 pm. If you are out of anti-chlorine while replacing the aquarium water, and only realize it after 10pm. I guess this is your only option.

C. Forest Freshwater Fish

Location: Beside Putra Permai Police Station (refer to location map)
Description: The owner told me a few time that he is very particular in the fish quality. He is a fish supplier who has a great knowledge about fish. Any way, he is busy with his supplying business. Therefore, the opening hour of the shop is not fixed. You may try your luck.

D. Fish Love Enterprise

Location: Opposite Drive Through KFC (refer to location map)
Description: Despite the less strategic location, Fish Love Enterprise has its loyal visitors. If you feed your fish with small fish or frog, you can get it here. They have the normal small fish, red color small fish, ‘ikan bilis‘ and also the ‘longkang fish‘. The Indon kakak always give you more when you try to be friendly :)

Yes, there are 2 actually. One is located inside Jusco Equine and another one is in the shop lots beside McDonald.

1. Post office in Jusco
Its location is quite hidden. Go to 1st floor towards the Jusco Home Appliances division. On the right, there is an exit. The post office is at the last corner next to Jusco AEON-SPOT.

2. Mubarak Book Store
Yes, it is a book store and stationary shop. The post office is sharing half of it. You will see the counter after enter the shop.

Why? Err, I think it is because normally McDonald will be the landmark for a place. If you are meeting someone and he/she has never been to that place, yes, McDonald is definitely one of the best choice. Luckily there is one at Bandar Putra Permai, and the above scenario always happen to me.

If you are using Jalan Putra Permai, look for Jusco. If you are from Cyberjaya/Putrajaya direction, turn left at the Jusco traffic light and you will see the ‘M’. If you are from Serdang town, take a right turn at the Jusco traffic light. You can also take the shortcut from Puncak Jalil. On the way to Jusco, you will definitely see McDonald on your right.

If you are coming from Putrajaya/Puchong direction, make a left turn right before Petronas (the one beside Jusco). Go straight on and you will come to a little round about. Go straight and the Maybank is on your right.

However, if you are coming from Serdang, take a right turn at the traffic light to Taman Equine Equestrian Centre. Turn left at the first junction and you will see Maybank on your left.

For family who cook daily, you might want to pay a visit to Pasar Borong Selangor.

The market is having its peak hour in the morning and night time. I would say you could get fresher stuffs during these time. Plan your time because it is not free to enter the premise. The entrance fees is RM1.
