Giant in Bandar Putra Permai
I guess most of the Putra Permai residents have noticed the new placed advertisement board of “Giant is coming soon” near Bazaar Rakyat. I’m just wondering where will this Giant be located? The under construction area beside Puchong Gateway? That one is more likely to be a Tesco. I don’t know, the sales girl from the Equine Gallery told me a few years back.
My curiosity lead me to drop an enquiry at the Malaysia Giant website but unfortunately, the captcha security code will never be correct. I gave up after trying for 3 times.
So, please share if you know anything about the Giant in Putra Permai.

What happened to Permai Central which was launched by Transport Minister in 2007 which is suppose to be behind Petronas at Seri Kembangan and beside pasar borong selangor? Is the developer is holding it to sell it back for a higher value?

hi boss, i’m not sure about that..but there are nothing has been done so far..
Got news that the bus station project is canceled. In April this year, Tesco bought the abandoned drive through mall beside jusco from equine.
Being canceled? Oh no, too bad. It’s suppose to be the main terminal link for this area. That means we can only depend on those small bus stops now. The buses always occupy half of the road which really cause trouble some time.
Does it mean Tesco will be opened at the drive through mall? But according to the earlier plan, it will base at the area beside Puchong Gateway right. Correct me if i’m wrong.
Any way, good share ‘curious‘
The Giant is part of The Atmosphere project. It would be their Phase 1 development. According to http://www.theatmosphere.com.my, the location of Giant is along the Jalan Putra Permai. In other words, it should be the location where the “Giant Coming Soon” advertisement board placed currently.
I don’t think this is good news. Do you know how badly jammed the road heading in and out of LDP is every morning? The Atmosphere is directly fronting the road. The road is a very winding and steep road, with only TWO small lanes in each way. The stupid traffic light can’t handle the volume of traffic every morning and evening when people goes to work in Cyberjaya, Putrajaya or KL (using the MEX). So unless the stupid Highway authority do something about the road there, things are only going to get a lot worse!
I agree with you Jacky. Unless the authority do have a plan for the traffic, otherwise it could be a nightmare for the residents of Bandar Putra Permai.
