Broadband in Bandar Putra Permai
A suggestion came to me few days earlier, request to discuss a little bit on the broadband service of Bandar Putra Permai 1, 2 & 3. Alright, here it goes.
Bandar Putra Permai’s broadband service is currently under the coverage of Streamyx. I’m not sure if there are other Internet Service Provider available at this moment.
As for the speed, I personally think that it is reasonable fast for the 1M, monthly RM88 package. I did a simply test in speedtest.net, and below is the result.

So far, there are no major problem encountered with the Streamyx service. However, it did happen some time where the port is having problem. What you need to do is just give them a call and the problem will be fixed shortly.

What about wireless broadband users? anyone?
My streamyx is suck big time.It’s always disconnect every 20-30 mins.
Wao..frequently disconnect could be a big problem..but some how the connection is slow lately although they claimed that their restoration work is completed successfully.
I saw P1 Wimax stall in the same rows of stall in the evening. the stalls infront of Mubarak Book store.
I checked the wimax website, and seems that most of the bandar putra permai areas are in coverage..not sure how’s the speed performance.
I have been using P1 in my home in Jalan BPP 4/6 since April this year, and I must say that I am very satisfied with the service so far. The speed is really very fast, faster than the package that I have signed up for! Of course, it does disconnect sometimes, but that only happens occasionally. I’m agent for P1 wimax and Streamyx. If you’ve any problem, maybe I can help you. I stay behind McD and I’ve using P1 Wimax and Streamyx. P1 doesn’t disconnect as often as Streamyx and the best it doesn’t require the phone line.
